Why handbuilt? The same reason people get excited by food that has been created from scratch. There’s something special about something that’s been built by hand. Three shows on Sundays) Both Ann and Dave have pursued various handbuilt ventures over the years — some successful, some just crooked, obscure creations. So when it came to creating a company, it made sense to tag it with the handbuilt name. It’s something they continue to do, from creating stuffed animals, to hand-painted purses and t-shirts.
